Rihanna's new video Rude Boy is a refresher of the Pon de Replay beauty that hit the scene in 2005. With elements from her Barbadian culture and her rocker appeal, this video comes together beautifully. The use of simple, colorful backgrounds and un-choreographed dancing, reminds me of the M.I.A video Boyz, a video I will post after this so there is a visual reference. Enjoy!

This Japanese Street Style image attracted my attention for many reasons. For one the use of color is amazing, this young lady pairs her coral front buttoned skirt with a black and white striped shirt. This combination is risky, but it works because the skirt is where the eye is directed first, then to the huge knit scarf and the leather jacket. Overall this whole outfit defines casual street style, women who are on the go but stay fly every chance they get....love the concept.

so i found one of the greatest clothing lines that defines my style...comfort.chic.casual wear....i love MADEWELL already and can't wait to make my first purchase from South Park Mall...so i definitely have to come back home and raid the WHOLE store!
