Tropical Crop & Skirt: eShakti Outfit Review

Hello Beauties,

I hope your week has been smooth sailing! If you have been a reader for some time, you all know that I rarely do clothing reviews. When a great, honest company comes along, I usually do enjoy featuring them on CRB! Even though this is a sponsored post, you all know that my views will be completely and utterly truthful. The company that I have the pleasure of collaborating with is named eShakti.
Some of you all may be familiar which this brand, many of your and my favorite bloggers have rocked beautiful pieces from them. The awesome thing about eShakti is that you have free reign to customize pieces that they design to fit your personal body measurements.
**FYI: This review is a bit lengthy, but feel free to read or just breeze through to the sections you want to learn more about.

To be completely honest I was skeptical, can a brand truly fit my curves the way I want them to? YES, eShakti can and did! I have truly been obsessing over the matching set trend and as soon as I saw it on the site I had to review it! Below you will find what I think of the durability and fit, shipping, and sale information!
Durability & Fit
eShakti is a site that ranges in sizes 0-36W, so this is a brand that truly is one style, fits multiple! I picked this matching set in a size 18, but as some of you know I am on a fitness journey, which is a bit too big for my waist but still fits beautifully. I will end up getting this tailored to fit my new size soon. But ladies, this is a perfect match for me! If you are a size 8, get an 8, if you are a size 20, get the size 20. Even though this is a crop top it does not reveal any skin when worn with the matching skirt. I do plan on wearing them as separates so hopefully I share how it fits with other pieces on here. The skirt does have a slit in the back, but it is a modest slit that adds more appeal to the look!

Shipping

According to the site, shipping will take 14 business says to deliver. It took my order about 4 days to get to me. Mind you, the fulfillment center is based in India (yes the country) and I live in North Carolina. I am not sure if I received speedy deliver since I am a reviewer, but either way 2 weeks is pretty good when it is shipping from another country.

Sale Information

You are in luck, this outfit that I have on is now on sale! The sale expires 7/31/14. You will be able to find this outfit here: Tropical Set. If you are as frugal as me, I have another deal for you! When you are new to eShakti, or have never made a purchase with them before, if you register before checking out, you will receive a $25 gift coupon, but it must be used 15 days from the date of issue when you signed up for it.

Overall, I rate eShakti an A+
from customer service, shipping and fit, this will be a brand that I will keep in my back pocket!

Have you ever purchased anything from eShakti?

Simple is Always More: The Skater Skirt

Have you ever wanted to look simple and cute at the same time?

I have been feeling like this lately! So I slipped into this awesome and comfy skater skirt from G-Stage plus size collection. If you are wondering what the floral hem is all about, I actually re-purposed an old H&M body con dress and used the hem for the skater skirt. By itself, the skater skirt is a bit risque in the back.

Com'on ladies, I didn't want all my junk all out in the open (lol). Whenever a skater is involved, I instantly go for simple, chic. How did I do?

1995 Wildcats

It has been quite beautiful here in North Carolina this summer; so nice, that I decided to wear this comfortable light-weight sweatshirt from Target. The neon and heather grey combination went perfect with my "1995" graphic skirt from Wet Seal. I have been loving the resurgence of the graphic trend, so I decided to dress it up for the work place. Note, I do work with an advertising agency, so the attire is a mix of business causal to super casual.

What are your favorite standout pieces to wear to work or on the weekends?

Leopard Fuzz

North Carolina, and many other states around the nation, has been hit with a killer winter cold front!
Being that I am an ex-New Jersey native, my cold blood is now as warm as southern biscuits! Despite my climate adaptation to moderate southern winters, I do keep my wardrobe stocked with boots, oversized sweaters and my absolute favorite winter accessories, scarves! Here is what I put together for work, something casual yet very cute and comfy!

Warm Fall Mornings

North Carolina had a beautiful, warm morning today! In true southern fashion, you really never know whether to pull out your chunky knit sweaters or sandals during the fall. Despite the weather feeling like a warm 75°, I ignored the urge to pull out a tank dress and decided to go with fall festive attire, the ever-so-popular faux fur vest and taupe booties.

With the weather putting me in such a great mood, I decided to snap some photos of my 11 days postpartum bod! I feel damn good after giving birth to a 7 pound, 3 ounce baby about a week and a half ago.

OOTD: Hello November!

Hello Beauties!

I could not wait until Monday to post a new OOTD! It's a new month and new season!
It's time to welcome November with color blocking, chunky knits, and ankle boots (in my case combat boots). We can't forget the ever essential wide brim fedora!

I am keeping the 3 C's in mind: comfy, casual and cute! Ladies we can be fabulous by keeping it simple and chic.

OOTD: Oxblood Chic

Hello Dolls!

I am back with another OOTD! It was quite chilly today in North Carolina so I decided to throw on
my thrifted Oxblood Sweater from my favorite place, Goodwill. I got this J-Crew sweater for about $5!
This was definitely a steal!

To make this chunky sweater more feminine, I threw on my favorite American Apparel skirt and
my Wet Seal moto booties! I am diving into fall fashion, slowly but surely!

What are you ladies rocking this fall?
