Mommy Review: Shea Moisture Baby

Shea Moisture had to know that their natural baby bath time washes would make curly mommas go crazy! Being that I am from the era of Johnson&Johnson nighttime washes, I wanted to raise my child on a more natural brand of products that I stand by 100%. After receiving the Raw Shea Chamomile & Argan Oil Baby Healing Lotion, Ointment and the Shampoo/Wash from my baby shower in the summer, I was anxious to try them out on Emmanuel in the fall! Since we have been using these products for about a month, I thought it was time that I share my opinions with you all!
[If you are unfamiliar with Shea Moisture natural hair and baby lines, they can be found in Target, Walgreens, CVS and Walmart.]

One of the many reasons why me and baby enjoy bath time with Shea Moisture is because of the calm and comforting ingredients, like chamomile, that can be found in them. Fused with argan oil and shea butter, the wash and lotions left my son's skin silky smooth and supple. I can completely vouch for the company's product tag line, "calm & comfort," because even though Emmanuel hates bathing there have been less tears the more we use this baby wash line. Along with the soothing properties of this baby line, I am excited to share the ingredients that Shea Moisture products are formulated without:

Beginning the bathing session with the Head-to-Toe Wash & Shampoo, I always start an amazing bubble bath for Emmanuel. As a mommy who is always washing bottles two or three times a day, putting my hands in the infused bath water provides a mini spa session as I bathe my baby. Along with soothing my personal skin issues, it has also helped treat his baby acne and flaky skin.

After a moisturizing bubble bath, I reach for the Healing Lotion. Luxuriously thick and creamy, this healing lotion further repaired by son's extremely flaky skin once he came home from the hospital. Once I began to lotion him down with this product, within a week his skin was smoother. This lotion leaves behind the beautiful scents of shea and cocoa butters, which tempt me to use it everyday (I do every now and then).

Before snapping up Emmanuel's onesie, the last product that completes his bath time ritual would be the   Head-to-Toe Ointment . This thick ointment melts down to a smooth oil that can be used anywhere on his body, but we primarily use it on his bottom to prevent diaper rashes and wet/dirty diaper discomfort during the night. Being that my little one has been dealing with baby acne on and off, I do not use this on his face, arms or legs, just on his bottom and it works like a dream!

Overall, I give these three products from the Raw Shea Chamomile & Argan Oil line an A+ for providing products that actually do what the packing says it will achieve.

When I get to see this little face happy, I know Shea Moisture is doing everything right with their product line!

My little Christmas Reindeer says "Happy Holidays!"

Thanks for the post. #NewFollower I was curious about the products. I've tried a few Shea Moisture products (even my hubby tried their men's facial scrub) and we both like those products. I didn't even know the baby line existed. I still have some time before my bundle gets here (April '14) but I'll go ahead and add it to my registry!

I've been curious about these products, too. So glad to finally see such a great review on them! Since my daughter and I already love their hair products, I really want to try their baby line for my 3 month old son. Gonna grab up some items this weekend. Thanks for sharing, Chakayla!
