Classic Beauty of the Day: Brittany Parrish

Instagram has been an amazing place for bloggers, entrepreneurs, and friends to mix and mingle in the social media world. With such easy access to people around the world, I fortunately came across a young lady named Brittany, known to Insta as Vinty_Fresh, whose unrelenting passion for the art of thrift encouraged me to gravitate toward having her featured on CRB.

to vintage, thrift fashion has earned her the well-deserved spot as our Classic Beauty of the Day!

Who are your style heroes? 

I would have to say some of the 80s and 90s sitcom characters such as Claire Huxtable, so elegant and classy, Whitley Gilbert, always posh and put together, and Denise Huxtable, eclectic yet stylish, just to name a few.

What is your "go-to" piece you cannot live without?

That's so hard. I don't think I have just ONE piece I can't live without! If I had to choose, I would say my highwaisted acid wash jeans. I'm a sucker for acid wash and love challenging my style around them.

How has your vintage clothing company inspired your followers and customers to appreciate thrifting?

I think that it gives them an idea of how to style a vintage piece for one, because they might see an item they love in my store, or even at a thrift shop, and can't think of what to wear with it. My clothing site gives them style tips as well as inspiration to help them. Also, I think it shows them you can look stylish and different without spending tons of money! 

What was your first thrifted item?

My first thrifted item was little red crossbody vintage purse. I was in the 5th grade when I purchased it at Value Village with my mom. I'll never forget that.  

Tell us one thing no one really knows about you?

I think one thing people would love to know about me is that I love inspiring others. When people write   to me on social sites, saying how I inspired them or how they love my style, really touches me honestly.  It's a great feeling knowing that being yourself can inspire others to do so.
